THE HEISMAN MEMORIAL TROPHY

1965 Mike Garrett USC Halfback In his three years with the Trojans, he a total of 4876 yards in rushing, passing, receiving, punt returns, and kickoff returns. The 5'9" 189-pound Garrett was USCs first Heisman winner. From college, he went to the Chiefs for four years and Chargers 4 years. There he founded a program for underprivelidged kids. In 1993 Mike was named Athletic Director of USC. Mike and his wife Suzanne have two children, Sara and Danniel, and reside in Pasadena, California. Elected to the NFF&C Hall of Fame in 1985.
