2006 Troy Smith Ohio State Back Troy Smith, the 6-foot 1-inch 215 pound quarterback from Cleveland. Smith's senior year, he threw for a school-record thirty (30) touchdowns while securing a spot for his Buckeyes in the BCS National Championship Game. Following his senior season, he was also awarded the Walter Camp Award, Davey O'Brien Award, AP Player of the Year, Sporting News Player of the Year, and Big Ten Offensive Player of the year. Troy scored a career 54 touchdowns and 5,720 yards. His completion averages were 55.7%, 62.9% and 65.3% in his final three years. Troy Smith was drafted in the 5th round by the Baltimore Ravens.
